EasyLayouts offers the ability to completely customise the Joomla Finder/Smart Search pages. The EasyLayouts plugin for YOOtheme Pro brings this capability to YOOtheme.
Create different output for different category of article in the results, custom output for contact and even offering support for JFilters results.
The finder results can even be laid out in a masonry format and fetched dynamically as you scroll the page.
You will need some familiarity wirh how EasyLayouts works to take full advantage of this feature.

Create a new layout of type 'Smart Search - Generic Item' and choose the default Joomla layout option
Customise The Layout
No need to create any EasyLayouts layouts - all you need is to open the configuration Options. On the 'Error/Offline Pages' tab select the hidden menu item you created.
Multiple Smart Search Layouts
You can create different smart search layouts for different content types. In this example we have different layouts that correspond to recipes, restaurants and chefs.
In addition to layouts for content type results you can create layouts for contacts and can customise the search form page itself.
