Template Versioning

Do sometimes find that you make some changes to a YOOtheme template and realise you've "broken it" and wished you could go back to a previous version? Or - do you want to quickly prototype some changes to show a client and then have the ability to revert your changes?
If you use the YOOtheme library features and actively save versions of you layout as you go along you can recover previous versions of your templates but this requires a lot of work and we are sure that everyone will have broken a layout and wished they could go back a few steps.
With the EasyLayouts Template Versioning and Locking plugin you can now easily roll back to previous versions of your templates.

Reload a Saved Version of a Template

If you want to reload an old version your template simply click the 'versions' icon that appears next to the library icon
Then choose one of the saved versions from the drop down.

Old Version Reloaded

After selecting the old version and clicking 'ok' the current template is replaced in the customiser. If you want to use it right away then click the 'save layout' button as normal.

Highlight Specific Versions

You can name the current version of a template and mark it as a favourite.
